Seussical the Musical, Jr.

Our play and Spring Event will be on April 24 & 25 at St. Joseph High School. We are proud to present Seussical the Musical, Jr. as this year’s play.

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza. The Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

St. Barnabas Green Team

Our student-run Green Team, “Give Green a Chance,” works hard to keep our campus clean and litter free.  We have an active recycling program where we raise money through the collection of bottles and cans on the church and school grounds.  We encourage all of our students to be good stewards of the environment and to do their part.

Yum Club

St. Barnabas School is pleased to announce that we’re going to start offering lunch orders from YumClub

YumClub’s mission is to provide students and parents with healthy food choices from restaurants they know and trust. YumClub allows schools to bring their students local restaurant meals, meeting state and federal guidelines for school lunches.  All menu options are nutritionist certified, affordable and exceed dietary guidelines for today’s youth. At YumClub we help communities support each otherby contracting only with local restaurants within a 2-5 mile radius of each school. We believe in helping each other and building strong relationships within communities.

YumClub’s ordering and payment will be handled on-line via their website.
