Seussical the Musical, Jr.

Our play and Spring Event will be on April 24 & 25 at St. Joseph High School. We are proud to present Seussical the Musical, Jr. as this year’s play.

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza. The Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

New Landscaping

A dedicated group of volunteers spent part of their summer updating the landscaping for our daycare / parish center. Come check it out – they did an amazing job!

New Air Conditioning

After much effort (and a few discoveries about our main power feed), we’re pleased to announce that the new air conditioning system has been completed!

As part of the project, the school’s main power is also being upgraded, which will come in handy to support our goal of one child – one device, starting in the 2017/18 school year.

New Uniforms

Included in the attachment is the information about our new uniforms from Vicki Marsha. They are our exclusive uniform provider.

St. Barnabas Green Team

Our student-run Green Team, “Give Green a Chance,” works hard to keep our campus clean and litter free.  We have an active recycling program where we raise money through the collection of bottles and cans on the church and school grounds.  We encourage all of our students to be good stewards of the environment and to do their part.
